My painting career takes me in very engaging and enjoyable directions - portraiture, still life and teaching. The impulse to create paintings of a spiritual or religious nature is of a unique impetus. In this work I strive to bring to the canvas works not only of grace and strength but those imbued with the energy and substance of meditative contemplation. In this realm of my work especially, I hope to create paintings that will inspire and touch a deep inner chord in those who behold them.
